3 years after the release of Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft is releasing a sequel to the game — The Division 2. The first game in the series was located in New York City. However, this video game will take place in Washington D.C.. A battle has exploded between the civilian militia trying to keep order, and the scoundrels trying to take control of the city during the series’ epidemic. The Division 2 will be available on March 15th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
This is a samurai game we didn’t know we needed. In many games, you can get by with running around and button smashing. However, this game relies more on your strategy and the ability to attack gracefully. An interesting concept that this video game brings to the table is that when you die you can revive yourself on the spot instead of going back to your last checkpoint. This video game will be available March 22nd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
In Yoshi’s Crafted World, Baby Bowser and Kamek travel to Yoshi Island in order to steal the island’s gem-set — known as the Sundream Stone — which possesses the power to make anyone’s dreams come true. While attempting to steal the gems, they get launched across the world. Now it is up to Yoshi to recover them. In this game, you play as Yoshi moving through an arts-and-crafts-made world. You not only move in the traditional 2-D way, but you are also able to move in and out of different parts of the level. You’re also able to flip the stage to see things you never would have seen if you’d only looked from one side. The video game will be out March 29th, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
There is a lot of excitement for the 11th edition of Mortal Kombat. Just like its predecessor, it will be a 2.5 dimensional game with some new gameplay features. For example, it will have Fatal Blow and Krushing Blow. Both special attacks are available after you meet certain requirements in battle. You can buy Mortal Kombat 11 April 23rd for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Who doesn’t love a good zombie video game? In Days Gone, you play as a former outlaw who is now a drifter and bounty hunter in this post-apocalyptic world. To get around this world’s large map, you will have a motorcycle as your main form of transportation. This video game will feature a beautiful open world, with the weather taking a realistic toll on your progression in the game. The weather conditions will affect how you deal with objectives, and will also strengthen some zombie-like creatures that are referred to as “Freakers.” Days Gone will be available April 26th, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
Taking place 30 years after its predecessor, Rage — Rage 2 presents the idea that the world has fallen into an anarchic mess. Much like the first game, Rage 2 features fighting with out-of-the-ordinary weapons, as well as vehicular combat. However, this first-person shooter will be a lot more vibrant than the original sepia-esque imagery. This video game will be available May 14th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
