Exclusive Preview: Rocko’s Modern AFTERlife #1 Mini-Series (April 2019)
BOOM! Studios announced a new mini-series coming in April by the name of Rocko’s Modern Afterlife #1. Everyone remembers the classic show that premiered on Nickelodeon in the 90s. If you don’t, you might be too young. But for the nostalgia effect, this will grab any 90s baby. Coming on April 3rd, 2019, writer Anthony Burch (Borderlands 2) and artist Mattia Di Meo from Adventure Time have teamed up to create an afterlife masterpiece.
Rocko is trying to survive the zombie outbreak that has taken over his home in O-Town. What is Rocko to do? Too much screen time was already making the citizens of O-Town basically zombies, but now something is turning them into actual zombies. And you know who wants nothing to do with it? Rocko. He barricades himself and Spunky in their home determined to stay there forever. However, desperate times… you know the saying, right? Heffer becomes infected. What can Rocko do to save his friends and his city?
“Rocko’s Modern Life has always been laced with hilarious social commentary, but now we’re taking things up a notch by infusing that humor with a dose of the undead.”
