BBC Books have recently released new details on their upcoming release, Doctor Who: The Whoniverse, coming your way on October 25th.
If you’ve already binge-watched all Doctor Who episodes, and even all Doctor Who-alike shows, then you will probably happy to know there’s a new official Doctor Who book making its way to challenge Whovians on their knowledge of the Whoniverse.
Written by authors Justin Richards and George Mann, the book promises ‘untold’ stories on other platforms and lifeforms, from the popular Daleks and Cybermen, to the Ice Warriors, the Silurians, and many more. The book is described as the ultimate Whoniverse encyclopedia, containing popular knowledge, scholarly erudition and accumulating folk wisdom, which makes it a must for anyone passionate about the Whoniverse.
“The Whoniverse is a never-before-seen history of the Human Race – from the formation of Earth round the Racnoss eggs, and the creation of life by the destruction of the last Jagaroth spaceship, through to the eventual expansion of the sun and end of the world and beyond – to New Earth, and Utopia…”
Doctor Who: The Whoniverse is also accompanied by extraordinary artwork featuring full-colour illustrations, maps, charts and photography from key Doctor Who artists including Alex Fort, Chris J Lees and many more.
The hardcover book contains 320 pages and will be published by Harper Design on October 25th.
