The literary webseries Classic Alice has begun production on an all-new season in Los Angeles.
Creator, writer and star Kate Hackett presents a compelling narrative that follows Alice Rackham and her journey to experience real life through classic literature, along with drawing in teen and young adult fans who interact with the show and characters across social media.
Classic Alice has been fairly successful since its start: her story so far reaches across 7 books and 54 episodes; has gained 11,000 YouTube subscriber, as well as great reviews from other outlets including Reading Rainbow, NPR, Hello Giggles, GeekyNews, and the Daily Dot.
Due to the engagement with its fanbase, their fans are also very loyal as they have managed to raise more than $55,000 via the #SaveAlice Indiegogo campaign to fund a new season. This achievement will allow the show “to move beyond vlog-style filming and out into Alice’s world, and to take on a new range of classics, starting with Henry David Thoreau’sWalden”.
Classic Alice returns summer 2015 with new books, new faces, new locations, and new adventures for the characters that we love so much!
