Black Panther will be one of the greatest films in Marvel history and for many reasons at that. Black Panther is one of the first Marvel-led African American films, and Black Panther is going down in history for a film that has almost an entire cast that is African American.

That alone is historical for a superhero film. With the film being 100 days out (finally) we are celebrating five things we are stoked for. Today is a day to celebrate all that is Black Panther until the release. 2018 cannot come faster, bring on the T’Challa!

1 The Cast of Black Panther In All Of Their Glory

Black Panther

Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther/T’Challa, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Danai Gurira as Okoye, and Letitia Wright as Shuri.

The cast of Black Panther is nothing short of amazing. I can tell you that right now. The cast includes — Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa (Black Panther himself), Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, and Danai Gurira as Okoye.

Also making reoccurring appearances is Forest Whitaker, Angela Basset Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) as W’Kabi, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and the cast goes on. So many amazing actresses and actors in this film I can barely wait until February 16, 2018.

2 Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger *Swoon*

Black Panther

Michael B. Jordan is excellent in everything. I have never been disappointed in a role he has done ever; however, he is rarely, if at all, a villain. I never see him in the rebellious, brooding, “I am going to kick your ass” role much; to see him in the trailers as a villain is outstanding.

I already can tell you it is going to be an outstanding role for him. I am excited to see the evil Black Panther and how that came to be; how they will represent that on screen. Erik Killmonger is ready for blood, and you know what? So am I, let’s get it.

3 Seeing T’Challa aka., Black Panther On Screen!

Black Panther

Now, we have seen T’Challa before in Civil War. I know, I know; seeing T’Challa in his own film? Never been done before, so I am more excited to see Black Panther in his own solo film. When he was in Civil War, he stole the show. I was absolutely excited for the next steps of Black Panther after that film.

Spider-Man was good too, but Black Panther was just so badass. The suit, the Chadwick, everything worked. I am excited to see how this solo film orders the rest of the MCU and what more we can expect from T’Challa in the future installments in the MCU.

4 Seeing The World of Wakanda Come To Life

The world of Wakanda has always been the lore of Black Panther. We never truly got to see what it is capable or made of in the film or on screen.

The one thing I cannot wait for is seeing how beautiful Wakanda is on screen. There’s not much to say about this one, but I will tell you — from the trailers, the world of Wakanda is coming to life perfectly.

5 The Fighting Scenes Will Be A+

The fighting scenes from what we can see on the trailers will be epic. Just from seeing how advanced in technology Wakanda is and seeing how badass the females are in Wakanda we are getting epic fight scenes.

The trailer shows Black Panther jumping over cars in one scene and man, it is the coolest scene in the whole trailer to me. Observing those visuals that look appealing, entertaining, and fun is what I am expecting out of Black Panther and so much more. Bring on the fights!

We are unquestionably excited for Black Panther and without a doubt cannot wait till 2018. If you are eager, tell us what you are excited about in the comments and our poll below!
