The Daily Fandom Expansion – Join Our Journey!

0

The Daily Fandom is expanding in September which means that we are going to need a big team of passionate people who want to take fandom media to a whole new level. That is why we are searching for fangirls and fanboys who want to take part in our journey. If you have a passion for TV shows, movies and fandom studies then this is your place!

Here’s what we’re looking for:

YOUTUBERS

the daily fandom - camera

We are looking for vidders to launch our Youtube channel. For this part, you are going to need to be confident in front of a camera, as well as create your own content (anything from weekly news recap, weekly reviews, con coverage, fandom discussion, fan recs, analysis…). This does not mean that you have to appear in the video if you don’t want to. You can also just record your voice and edit images to support your video. The other basic thing that is required is to have good video and audio quality. We will help you with anything you need surrounding guidance in the beginning, resources and even tutorials.

WRITERS

the daily fandom - writer

We need coverage for at least the following shows: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, American Horror Story, Arrow, Bones, Castle, Daredevil, Defiance, Dominion, Game of Thrones, Gotham, House of Cards, Modern Family, New Girl, Orange is the new black, Sleepy Hollow, The Flash, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, True Detective, 12 MonkeysThe minimum that is required for a staff writer is to write weekly reviews.

We are also always welcoming collaborators! Being a collaborator means casually collaborating with content as a way to showcase your skills as a writer on TDF. Collaborators are not as engaged to the site as staff writers and we won’t be asking anything from you.

WHAT YOU WILL GET

As of now, you will get an opportunity to showcase your writing skills as well as having a platform to write anything you want to say on fandom and on your favourite shows. Apart from that, you will also have the opportunity to get press passes for conventions, to learn and practice your writing/editing skills as well as being part of a team who are as passionate for fandom as you are. Later on, we will try to get special offers and discounts from online merchandise stores as well as getting paid for your work.

DO YOU WISH TO APPLY FOR THIS AWESOMENESS? Send us an email with a sample text or video made by you along with some basic information about yourself (name, age, academic background, fandoms) to thedailyfandomtv@gmail.com

We can’t wait to hear from you!
