The BBC has just released some new information on the Doctor Who Festival taking place from the 13th until the 15th of November at London Excel.
Writer Mark Gatiss will now be appearing all 3 days of the festival. The Theatre Show 3 has also just been announced. Atendees will have exclusive access to the following 45-minute theatre sessions including; Meet the Cast, Meet the Writers and now Millennium FX with Special Guest Mark Gatiss. In Millenium FX, fans will be able to meet Gatiss and the team from Millennium FX who are in charge of creating of the monsters on Doctor Who. Fans will be able to get a scoop of how the process of creating the monsters works. You can watch a preview video here.
Timetables have also been released so you can organize and plan your days to make the most out of the festival. Ticket holders will be able to take photos with members of the cast, writers and production members, as well as having a photo on set from an iconic scene from Series 9. Confirmed members are: Peter Capaldi (sold out), Mark Gatiss, Michelle Gomez, Ingrid Oliver, Danny Hargreaves (Real SFX) and Nick Briggs (voice of the Daleks). Aside from all that, the festival will also include nice activities like a Drama School for those who wish to pursue an acting career or a cosplay competition for cosplayers who wish to showcase their costumes.
